‘m here today to talk to you about five different things that you can do to save some money on your auto insurance premiums. Car Insurance Michigan may be a little carrier specific, maybe your insurance provider offers these five things, maybe they don’t. If they don’t check us out because I know that we do.
Give All The Necessary Information
So the first thing is going to be making sure that your insurance carrier has all the necessary information about you as possible. I’m talking about high school diploma, college degree, graduate degree, what do you do for work, you know do you work in the medical field, the education field, are you a machine operator, are you an engineer. You letting the insurance carrier know these things will often open up some discounts that you may not have been getting before.
Your Insurance Score
The second thing is gonna be making sure that you haven’t updated insurance score. Your insurance score is what loosely correlates with your credit score and may stay on file for 3-4 years sometimes without being a report and if you’ve paid down some debts paid down some lines and credits over the years, then your insurance core could have vastly improved and could. Therefore be saving you money on your auto insurance premiums.
Health Insurance Coordination
The third thing is going to be your health insurance does it coordinate with your auto insurance Michigan and you. This is really easy to find out if you’re on a group employer plan you can call your HR department they should be able to tell you. If not, you can always call the 800 number on the back of your health insurance card, you ask them, doesn’t my health insurance coordinate with my auto insurance Michigan? They should be able to give you a pretty straight yes or no. Then what that means actually is if you were involved in an accident and there were medical bills to be paid, who was the hospital or the medical provider going to send the bill to are they sending it to your health insurance are they sending it to your car insurance Michigan. That has a huge bearing on the Michigan car insurance rates.
Putting a Vehicle in Storage
The fourth thing is going to be putting a vehicle in storage, and storage insurance or comprehensive insurance only. You know maybe it’s a summer car or winter car maybe it’s a project car that you just have sitting in the garage and you never thought to put insurance on it. Well, having the storage insurance as very inexpensive it covers it for things such as fire and theft. However, having that there opens up at the multi-vehicle discount that you may be entitled to, which will reduce the premiums on the other car or cars you have on that policy.

The fifth and final thing is an occasional driver. Maybe you are yourself or a young driver you have a ticket or a small accident, that’s hurting your rate. Well, if there’s somebody else that maybe they’re on the title of a car with you or maybe your mom and dad, somebody else who drives that vehicle every once in a while. If they have a clean driving record, you can add them to that policy as an occasional driver and have that extra drive around the policy will reduce your premiums quite often. You know that’s something that’s not available to every carrier, but I know the carrier that we placed 95% of our business with it, does allow us to do that.
So those are just five simple things to think about to check out on your own policy. If this information is useful to you, you can share this article with your closest friends or family. Thanks to you.
